Groundschool is operated by Wannabe Pilot LLC in New Jersey, USA, and initially offered in the United States for adults 18 and older. It is free during beta, with no subscriptions currently.

For help with the app, your account, privacy or instructor access, email ben@wannabepilot.com.

Getting help

Describe what you were doing and what happened. Include your app version/build and device/iOS version when relevant. A screenshot can help; remove personal information you do not want to share. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens or sign-in links. Flight safety questions belong with your qualified instructor and authoritative aviation sources; this support route is not an emergency service.

Sign-in trouble: use your account email to request a fresh sign-in link and check spam. If you cannot access the account, email support; we may verify ownership.

Delete your account: choose Delete Account in the app's Settings. This removes your learner profile, progress, chats and saved study state from active learner systems. Limited operational records and product-owned instructional material can remain as described in our Privacy Policy. Contact support if you cannot reach Settings.

AI data sharing: the updated app offers Allow AI sharing / Continue without AI and Settings → AI data sharing → Stop AI sharing. In that app, practice, grading, authored explanations, non-AI reminders and progress remain available when sharing is off. A confirmed stop prevents future covered sharing; information already sent is not retrieved. Older beta builds may lack these controls. Update when a supported build is available or contact support for help managing your choice.

Instructor access: accepting an invitation shares the progress summary described in the invitation/Privacy Policy. To remove access, email support from your account email and identify the instructor.

Study reminders: use app reminder settings or iOS notification settings to control notifications.
